Fort Ord Button-Celery (Eryngium montereyense)

Endemic to Monterey County. Split from coastal taxon; grows prostrate and found near vernal pools on Fort Ord NM. I first documented it in April 2024. California Native Plant Society, California Rare Plant Rank 1B.1: Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California and Elsewhere - Seriously threatened in California.
