About Crinite Manzanita (Arctostaphylos crustacea crinita)
Subspecies of Britteleaf Manzanita that can be found on Fort Ord and in the Santa Cruz Mountains. All subspecies have shrubby growth habit (burl present) and have long twig hairs that are not glandular. This subspecies have leaves densely hairy below.
